About the Cast

Jimmy Jean Louis – (Jimah Sanson) is best known for his role as "The Haitian" on NBC's hit drama "Heroes," His big screen break happened when he nabbed a role in Jean Claude Van Damme's "Derailed" (GAGA, 2002).

He went on to play the supporting role of Gideon in "Tears of Sun" (Columbia Pictures, 2003) starring Bruce Willis and Monica Bellucci, directed by Antoine Fuqua.

Jean-Louis shared the big screen with Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez in New Line Cinema's "Monster-In-Law" in 2005.

In 2006, he landed the role of the leading man and love interest of actress and comedian Monique in the romantic comedy "Phat Girlz" (Fox Searchlight Pictures). Jean-Louis has also made appearances in hit television shows F/X's "The Shield," HBO's "Arli$$," CBS's "The District," and Fox's "Fastlane."


Ama K Abebrese – (Pabi Adulai) is a British television presenter, producer and actress of Ghanaian origin. She started her training at Youth Culture Television in London, an organisation started by Sabrina Guinness on the TV show Challenge Anneka.

She was a presenter on BBC2's youth show Pass da Mic and the English File educational series. She is currently a regular TV presenter on OBE TV., hosting and producing on a number of shows including One Touch, and the entertainment chat show On The Sofa, where guests she has interviewed range from Akon to Ziggy Marley.

She makes her big screen debut in Sinking Sands.


Yemi Blaq - (DR. Zach Mathews) ,the popular Nollywood actor, is best known for his roles in "Entanglement" movie series and "Total Control" and "Total Control 2." He holds a bachelor of arts in theater arts from the University of Benin.

After making an entry onto the Nigerian Movie Industry scene in 2005, the captivating actor gives credit to his mother for his artistic abilities and fondly remembers "Osaro, The rise and fall "as his most happening character to play to date.

Most recently, he won season two of "Celebrity Takes 2," Nigeria's version of popular reality show "Dancing With The Stars."
